The purpose of the study was to examine relationship between performance appraisal and organizational performance. Business firms face unprecedented demand for improvement transformation in order be strategically oriented remain competitive. Recent research claim that brings a multitude benefits organizations their employees. Firms appraise employees, regularly, benefit from improved profitability competitiveness. study’s specific objective analyze at Bata Shoe Company (K) Limited, Eldoret Town. guided by Agency Theory which posits that, actors are motivated mainly or only economic self-interest. Close surveillance is required eliminate risk shirking other deviant behaviours. adopted blend quantitative qualitative approaches. used questionnaire interview method acquire pertinent information respondents. Regression analysis data analysis. concluded there significant recommended company improves on employee with view enhancing findings very relevant managers use management also add new knowledge insights academia helpful government policy formulation.
